Hi, I'm Teresa

So recently diagnosed with TNBC. I am 63 years old and I ignored my lump in my right breast due to a history of having cyst in my breast. So my tumor is 3-4 cm in size and a grade 3. I will be starting chemo on August 16 and that will last for 5 months, then the plan is to have a bilateral mastectomy. My fear right now is my PET scan is scheduled this Tuesday and I am fearful of them finding other cancer. Anywho I am sure you have all been there

Hi, I'm Betti

/You are in my prayers. I considered my diagnosis 8 1/2 years ago at the age of 62 a bump in the road and trusted God all the way.

Hi, I'm Nancy T

It is so scary and anxiety is high when first diagnosed. There seems to be so much no one knows yet. I was diagnosed in April with two lumps, one I had for several years and was told “no changes” on the mammogram, and it was a 2.6 cm DCIS. Thank God for a great surgeon who knew there were other signs that lead her to do a biopsy. I am still in chemo, but there is a light at the end of this tunnel. I hope to have a double mastectomy by year end. Prayers for you and your doctors. Stay Strong and just manage the symptoms. letting your team know of any changes from week to week.
