Oh! I can relate to this. Last October, 2019, I started craving ice super, super bad. I got lab work at my PCP and my ferritin level came back at “<1”. They thought it was an error so they ran it again, same thing. I was referred to hematologist where I have been getting 2 feraheme infusions about every 6 months.
