I say take whatever vitamins your Dr suggests. I’m on B-6, B-12, Fish oil, Probiotic. Only had my first treatment so well see what happens.. This one went great but worried about next.

I was diagnosis Stage three ovarian cancer January 2017. I just started my second round of cisplatin + taxol . I’m losing my hair, was tired after couple days after treatment, and have numbness in finger tips & toes. My Dr. wants me to take Vitamin E, folic acid, B6, B12 and magnesium. Has anyone taken these vitamins for side affects?

I had this treatment my 2nd time. Dec 2010 thru May 2011. Had Taxol for 2 wks. & Cisplatin/Taxol the next wk. I had these for 6 rounds. The more I had the worse I felt. Lost my hair after the 1st. round. Now I have some neurpathy from the Cisplatin. Stayed tired & had diarreha for a few days after long day treatment. Had medicine that did not help much. I pray for anyone having any kind of treatment. May God bless & keep you!!!!!
